Role Summary You will be the single point of contact for financial metrics related to indirect product development spending, managing two direct reports. This role involves heavy business partnering with Body Engineering, Test and Development, Vehicle Attributes & Testing, and Charging Hardware Development teams. You will translate complex financial data into simple metrics, anticipate business partner needs, and build strong relationships with data owners and technical leaders. You will also be adept at handling multiple priorities simultaneously. Responsibilities Business Partner Relationship Management Ensure business partner satisfaction by providing professional, timely, and accurate indirect cost reports and explanations. Serve as the primary contact for all indirect cost-related inquiries from business partners. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve business partner concerns or requests. Internal Process Excellence Collaborate with cost data owners to understand root causes of indirect cost fluctuations in departmental spending and R&D. Work with cross-functional teams on ERP enhancements to improve cost tracking and modeling for indirect programs. Assist with defining and designing tools and processes for managing indirect spending. Team Leadership Supervise and mentor two direct reports, fostering their professional growth. Oversee daily activities of the indirect spending finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Qualifications Ability to influence across multiple functions and organizations. Confident presenter to both internal business partners and senior leadership. Knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles and theory. Advanced written and verbal communication skills; adept at composing concise, accurate, and targeted responses. Advanced analytical and data manipulation skills (Excel, Power Query, VBA, SQL, etc.). Bachelor’s degree (MBA/CPA a plus) in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years (or 3 years + MBA) of related business experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility. Project management experience a huge plus. Preference for candidates with knowledge of automotive product development and/or manufacturing. Pay Disclosure Salary Range for Irvine, CA based applicants: $138,000 - $182,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).
