Amazon.com
North America End-to-End (NA E2E) Strategic Planning sits at the center of Amazon's Supply Chain, offering the opportunity to shape one of the largest, fastest supply chains on the planet. Our team collaborates across Amazon's Supply Chain to ensure fast, on-time delivery speed at the right cost structure by working closely with operations and finance leaders to surface insights, track performance, and drive analysis to optimize capacity planning, supply chain network design, execution, and customer experience.
This role supports the Financial Planning and Reporting processes for North America Operations, partnering closely with Customer Fulfillment, Inbound Transportation, and Outbound Transportation to drive delivery of valuable financial insights across a rapidly changing, dynamic E2E supply chain network. You will also collaborate with the Standardization and Automation (S&A) team to influence the tech roadmap, driving process improvements and automation—including ownership of the financial systems and data infrastructure that power planning and reporting at scale across the network.
Your primary responsibility will be driving financial insights across the E2E Supply Chain network while serving as a key steward of the FP&A systems and data ecosystem that underpins those insights. This includes managing complex financial data systems, maintaining metadata integrity, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data that flows through planning processes network-wide. Success in this role requires a comprehensive understanding of the E2E Supply Chain, FP&A planning processes, and the technical systems that house and surface critical financial data.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who leads with curiosity and is comfortable navigating through ambiguity—including the complexity of large-scale financial data systems and the metadata structures that define them. They have a demonstrated ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment. You should be comfortable collaborating with various business units across Amazon, bringing excellent verbal and written communication skills. A typical day provides opportunities to innovate by building creative solutions for intricate planning processes, identifying high-priority work that maximizes results for key stakeholders, and solving complex problems that affect company-wide strategic decisions.
