Finance Manager, Amazon Now, IN
Amazon Now is redefining convenience in India by bringing everyday essentials—and increasingly, much more—to customers in minutes. Operating at the intersection of retail, logistics, technology, and real-time decision making, Amazon Now is one of Amazon India’s fastest-evolving businesses, where speed, selection, and cost discipline must coexist. This is a business where every basis point matters and every decision shows up in the P&L within weeks, not years.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an L6 Finance Manager to help scale Amazon Now through its next phase of growth. This role goes far beyond reporting—you will be a thought partner to senior business and operations leaders, shaping strategy, stress-testing bets, and building the financial backbone for a business that is growing rapidly while navigating complex unit economics.

You will own end-to-end financial leadership for critical parts of the Amazon Now value chain—ranging from store economics and last-mile costs to selection expansion, promotions, and customer economics. You will work in an environment with high ambiguity, fast feedback loops, and real impact.

What You Will Do
• Own the P&L and unit economics for key Amazon Now initiatives, translating complex operational realities into clear financial insights and decisions.
• Partner deeply with business, ops, supply chain, and tech leaders to evaluate trade-offs between growth, customer experience, and profitability.
• Build and evolve financial models for new initiatives (e.g., selection expansion, network topology changes, pricing and promo strategies), including scenario planning and downside risk assessment.
• Drive planning, forecasting, and variance analysis, with a sharp focus on basis-point drivers (ASP, UPO, DPH, waste, promotions, fees).
• Identify structural cost and margin improvement opportunities, not just short-term fixes—using data, benchmarks, and first-principles thinking.
• Design metrics and dashboards that enable fast, high-quality decision-making in a real-time business.
• Challenge assumptions and simplify narratives—bringing clarity to leadership discussions through crisp storytelling backed by data.
• Lead and develop junior finance talent, raising the bar on analytical rigor, ownership, and business acumen.
