Overview

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Finance Intern to join our team and support the Finance Department with day-to-day operations and strategic projects. This internship is a great opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field to gain real-world experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.


As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to the financial decision-making process, reporting tools, forecasting methods, and internal controls. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and dashboards for internal stakeholdersSupport budgeting and financial planning processesConduct financial analysis on company performance, trends, and key metricsAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing proceduresHelp reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account informationMaintain financial databases and track key performance indicators (KPIs)Support audit preparation by gathering and organizing financial documentationParticipate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assignedCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial dataAssist in creating presentations and materials for internal financial reviews Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldMinimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)Completed introductory finance and accounting coursesStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling is a plusDetail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentHigh level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentialityExperience with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday) is a plus About our Line of Business BrightSpring Health Services provides complementary home- and community-based pharmacy and provider health solutions for complex populations in need of specialized and/or chronic care.
