Finance Intern – Azerbaijan

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Duration: 12 months, part time - 0.5 FTE

Role Overview

 

We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented Finance Intern. The role involves assisting with financial tasks, performing data analysis, and supporting finance team members in day-to-day activities such as bank statements account reconciliation and maintaining financial records in accounting software or spreadsheets.

The role of a finance intern provides a wide range of opportunities for professional growth and practical experience, in financial Analysis, reporting and business operations, Problem-Solving & Adaptability

Key Responsibilities

Assist in reconciling bank statements and account payable to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data Participate in audits and compliance reviews as needed Provide administrative support to finance team members in organizing files, and handling correspondence with bank Support finance team members in ad-hoc projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams to exchange information and coordinate activities

 

Requirements

 

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is a plus). Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office. Creative mindset with attention to detail.
