About the role BURN is looking for a Finance and HR Officer who will hold a hybrid role that involves responsibilities related to both finance and human resources within an organisation . Duties and Responsibilities + Support in collating data required for accounting and tax filing. + Ensure that all documents have the relevant approvals before forwarding for payment. + Maintain records of VAT invoices to support reporting to the revenue authority. + Ensure all supporting documentation (including tax-compliant invoices) is available and filed correctly. + Reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable. + Reconciliation of B2C sales vs cash received and banked. + Reconciliation of stock flow report, sales reported, and sales posted in the system. + Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures. + Assist with the preparation and coordination of the audit process when necessary. + Support with general tax, VAT and withholding tax filing. + Identify and address discrepancies on purchase invoices and receipts shared. + Support HR in the preparation of employee payroll, benefits and compensation package. + Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. + Assist employees with HR questions, escalating to Group HQ where needed + Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to Finance and HR. + Any other tasks as requested by the line manager and/or senior management . Skills and Experience + At least 3 years’ experience in a business environment, with at least 3 years in finance, preferably in the manufacturing industry. + Experience with payroll processing and HR Administration (Preferred). + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. E + Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to finance and HR.
