The Position

The Position

As a Finance Enterprise Partner, you will act as the strategic finance business partner for Roche Pharma Italy’s commercial affiliate. You will drive business value and support the delivery of the strategy through insightful financial guidance, digital enablement, and proactive business partnering, helping our commercial teams make informed, data-driven decisions in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Partnering & Commercial Enablement

Partner closely with commercial teams—sales, marketing, and key account management—to co-create impactful customer journeys, including pricing, contract negotiation, and deal structuring.Provide financial modeling, pricing analysis, and deal evaluation to guide strategic business decisions.Serve as a sparring partner and challenger to align resource deployment with commercial objectives.Drive insightful decision-making on sustainable investment, portfolio management, and resource prioritization.Embed AI technologies in daily work to increase effectiveness and identify business-relevant insights.Being the entrepreneur with an outside-in view to reveal opportunity, manage risk, and optimize resource allocation to ensure a financially sustainable business;

2. Financial Planning, Tracking & Insights

Lead or support business planning events, including budget preparation, sales forecasts, OPEX management, and monthly outlook cycles.Lead and execute robust yet agile and fit-for-purpose planning (Outcome-Based Planning), contributing to ambitious growth aspirations within the organization.Monitor performance vs. plan, analyzing P&L, cost centers, and profitability; advise on corrective actions where needed.Develop actionable insights from financial and market data to support business transformation and value creation.

3. Strategic & Portfolio Steering

Participate in portfolio prioritization and resource allocation, supporting strategic decision-making.Model business scenarios to evaluate proposals, investment decisions, and new commercial opportunities.

4. Process Excellence, Digital & Community Collaboration

Identify, design, and implement process improvements, automation, and digital solutions to optimize efficiency.Leverage digital and emerging technologies to enhance forecasting, reporting, and commercial decision-making.Actively engage in Roche Finance and Value Enabler communities to share best practices and co-create scalable solutions.

5. Compliance & Governance

Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with Roche and regulatory standards.Uphold accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and contract management.

Who You Are

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s (e.g., MBA) and/or professional certifications (CPA, CIMA) are a plus.Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, Commercial Finance, or Strategic Finance roles, ideally within multinational or healthcare/pharma organizations.Proven experience driving digital initiatives, including automation, advanced analytics, or process digitalization to improve decision-making and efficiency.

Technology & Language

Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office; experience with AI,  data visualization, and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.Fluency in English and Italian.
