This position collaborates with senior leaders in Procurement, Marketing, and Corporate Functions to oversee cost management, planning, and financial analysis. The role reports directly to the Senior Director of Corporate and Commercial Finance and frequently interacts with BBU’s CFO. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader to build best practices and procedures to optimize cost management across a large, complex matrix organization. Key Job Responsibilities:Procurement Finance LeadershipPartner with the VP of Procurement and their team to track, analyze, plan, and forecast BBU’s raw materials, packaging, co-packer, and indirect purchasesPartner with procurement team to prepare and strategize on vendor negotiations to drive best outcomes for BBULead financial analysis for procurement strategies, contract management, and risk mitigationDevelop, implement, and track procurement strategies to optimize cost and improve efficiency including cost savings, cost avoidance, term extensions, etc.Provide periodic reporting and forecast to FP&A to help understand results and forecast BBU’s total P&LBuild and maintain dashboards to monitor procurement performance and key metricsDeliver ad hoc analysis and reporting for Procurement Marketing Expense Finance LeadershipPartner with the SVP of Marketing and their team to track, analyze, and forecast total marketing expenses at BBUPartner with Marketing leadership team to develop annual marketing budgeting process including high level target, “top-down” brand allocation, and “bottoms-up” brand planningCoordinate with Marketing to drive monthly marketing forecasting process including tracking budget shifts, capturing budget cuts/increases, mitigate risks, and identify opportunitiesSupport MMM analysis to measure marketing ROI (short & long term) and support in ad hoc marketing investments proposals Develop & own marketing reporting, dashboarding, and analysis on a periodic basis Own marketing expense accruals and expenses classification aligns with our Marketing PolicyProvide periodic reporting and forecast to FP&A to help understand results and forecast BBU’s total P&LDeliver ad hoc analysis and reporting for Marketing Corporate G&A Expense Finance LeadershipPartner with corporate functional leaders to track, analyze, and forecast all general and administrative expenses at BBUSet annual G&A budgets, manage headcount changes, and review spending in detailDevelop and own periodic G&A reporting for functional leaders to drive budget compliance including G&A actual/forecast vs Budget, detailed spend analysis, headcount reporting, etc. Challenge senior leaders to maintain budget and propose cost savings ideas/opportunitiesProvide periodic reporting and forecast to FP&A to help understand results and forecast BBU’s total P&LDeliver ad hoc analysis and reporting for G&A Team and Cross-Functional LeadershipDevelop and mentor finance teams through coaching, hands-on training, and career planning.Serve as finance business partner to Procurement, Marketing, and Corporate Functions.Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions.Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and analytics.Support development of presentations and content for executive leadership. Education and Work History:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in finance, experience in procurement, marketing, and G&A expense management within CPG or related industries preferred.Proven track record of partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business results.Strong analytical skills, with expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and ROI analysis.Advanced proficiency in MS Office; experience with Hyperion Essbase, Oracle, or similar systems a plus.
