We’ll enable growth and progress together. **Overview of Enterprise Data Office Organization:** Accelerating progress on our data transformation is an imperative for Citi, and over the last several months, we have analyzed what we need to do to make this happen. We are convinced that consistently producing timely, accurate and complete data that we can confidently rely on to run our business is a team sport - one that requires groups to work together toward shared goals. Given heightened expectations from regulators and a goal to build a strong and consistent global control environment, Citi continues to enhance its business governance framework and has created the Enterprise Data group. Enterprise Data is a critical component of Citi’s first line of defense for wholesale and counterparty credit risk management and works with Independent Risk teams to ensure best-in-class risk and controls, as well as client responsiveness. Key responsibilities of the group include credit analysis, documentation, risk identification, exposure monitoring and stress testing. Enterprise Data coordinates with credit management groups across institutional client businesses to ensure full alignment on business and regulatory goals, as well as consistency and best practices. The goal of our data transformation is clear: to ensure we can generate accurate and complete information in a timely manner, and use that data to inform our business-as-usual operations and our risk analyses, whether for real-world needs or as part of our scenario planning and regulatory reporting. While that sounds straightforward, it’s a meaningful undertaking to move away from siloed and complex processes, legacy systems, and activity-based metrics that have held us back in the past. **Overview of the Role:** The Finance Data Execution and Governance Director is a senior level role managing a team responsible for facilitating all aspects of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy across the Finance function. This role is responsible for defining the enterprise data governance strategy and/or Data Risk and Controls framework and roadmap, including alignment with related enterprise-wide and business/function/region data governance documentation. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary. **Responsibilities:** + Full management responsibility for a team or multiple teams, including management of people, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval + Liaise with business/function/regional partners to understand and align Data Governance, and/or Data Risk and Control related work + Manage and lead Data Governance, and/or Data Risk and Control, policy, practices, and standards including industry best practices + Drive progress, and provide guidance for adherence and continued development of enterprise-wide guiding policies, practices and standards + Develop materials to effectively and concisely articulate progress on the Data Governance strategy and/or Data Risk and Control framework for senior leadership and regulatory updates + Liaise with metrics team to articulate clear requirements for objective measures necessary to support Data Governance storylines with key stakeholders + Support the Finance function in the establishment of its Data Domains **Qualifications:** + 15+ years relevant experience in Banking, Financial Services, with 8-10+ years' managerial experience leading cross-functional teams + Strategic mindset, with ability to foresee future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies + Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels + Can effectively lead change in an organization with Citigroup’s size, scale and complexity; Experience leveraging the processes and principles of change management to drive organizational change, defining change criteria, providing support and education, managing resistance, and measuring outcomes + Manage through ambiguity by making sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems + Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizations; and demonstrates effective work relationships with business and global function colleagues + Experience creating and executing against frameworks that improve the quality and value of data to meet regulatory commitments and enhance risk management.
