We are seeking a Finance Controller for North America who will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the organization, including accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting. Reporting to the General Manager North America, this individual will provide financial guidance to the General Manager, Vice President of Finance and other company leadership to support strategic decision-making and will ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations.
Responsibilities Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial dataManage the organization's budgeting and forecasting process, and provide regular financial reporting to the Vice PresidentOversee the organization's accounting function, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger managementEnsure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standardsConduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiencyManage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and investorsDevelop and maintain financial models to support capital planning and investment decisionsLead and develop a high-performing finance team, and provide coaching and mentorship to team members Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldCPA or equivalent certification preferred10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleExperience within a manufacturing organization preferredStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulationsExperience developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controlsProven ability to provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-makingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.More About Filtration Group
