The Position
As Finance Controller at our Brussels production site, you’ll play a central role in shaping the financial direction of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust financial planning, performance tracking, and strategic investment oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare budgets (Budget Forecasts, Rolling Estimates) in coordination with relevant departments
Produce monthly financial reports and analyze production variances, including scrap
Manage financial aspects of CAPEX projects and ensure budget compliance
Oversee inventory accounting and ensure accuracy of stock transactions
Actively contribute to ERP deployment and continuous improvement of financial processes
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Finance or Business, with at least 1 year of experience in audit or management control within an industrial setting
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (BE GAAP) and IFRS
Analytical mindset, self-driven, result- and solutions-oriented
Excellent communicator in French and English
Tech-savvy and adaptable to a demanding environment
About the Department
You will work in the site finance team, reporting into the FP&A Manager. The finance function in Novo Nordisk is a key partner to the business, ensuring house in order and excellence in finance operations, while driving strategic resource allocation and well informed decision making.
At the end of 2024, Novo Nordisk acquired the Catalent Belgium SA production site. Now fully integrated into Novo Nordisk, it is undergoing a strategic transformation. The Brownfield Site Integration (BSI) Brussels team has been established to lead the local integration and optimize site capabilities in close collaboration with the on-site team.
