Job Description

This position is with Automotive Steering Column LLC in the Controlling department.  The overall purpose of this role is to gain experience and training while assisting with the departmental tasks and projects in controlling. These tasks will be related to closing process, account reconciliation, reporting, and forecasting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include but not limited to the following.

Assisting plant controlling team in daily responsibilitiesCost center expense reporting package preparationCash position forecastingMonth-end closingSupport in monthly business reporting with main focus on reporting and analysisMonitoring and distributing key performance data and other report as requiredSupport in the business planning and forecasting processAd-hoc projects

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance/AccountingAbility to rotate back at least every other term for at least 3 rotations preferred but not required

Qualifications/Competency:

Strong analytical and mathematical skillsStructured working approach to high quality standardsGood attention to detail, decision making, and problem solvingAble to present self well when communicatingStrong MS Office skills, particularly ExcelGood command of the English languageMS Power BI/Tableau knowledge preferredSAP knowledge is desirablePrefer someone who can work for 6 months straight, full timeMinimum GPA 3.0
