Job Description
Control Statutory Accounting and Tax compliance related bookings, requesting reclassifications and corrections (VAT rates proposed by Financial Shared Services, Tax non-deductible expenses, VAT deductibility, review of entries approved via systematic financial approvals)Cooperate and coordinate accounting & tax activities with various partners (direct and indirect tax and statutory services)Monitor & distribute tax reporting and statutory reportsMaintain and Communicate to Financial Shared Services recurring and ad-hoc reporting requirementsPrepare / Supervise preparation of manual journal entries including backup calculation (discounts accruals, Rev Recognition, other expenses accruals). Actively participate in the financial closeness processReview Intercompany billing, various balances, & follow up on disputesCoordinate Fixed Assets and Inventory counts, review and correct JV requestsWork closely with personnel in all departments to ensure compliance with company accounting and operational guidelinesCoordinate and support of internal and external Audits in the Affiliate Coordination and support of Tax Audits in the Affiliate Supervise SRM/ACR (non-PO invoices and payments) processing (scanning and booking) Deliver ad hoc non promotional expense analysis vs various benchmarks, validating actuals for the affiliate for full understanding of the cost baseEnsure archive of invoices, accounting documentation and reports (co-operation with iron Mountain)Support Finance Director to ensure full compliance with all finance processes and procedures across the AffiliateLead Internal Control effortsApprove ACRsManage transparency reporting in affiliatesManage P-Card and T&E CardsLead the affiliate accounting staff, purchasing, transparency, including annual evaluationEnsure Risk Management
Qualifications
Master`s degree5 years experience minimum as auditor, controller, local finance manager or business finance managerFluent EnglishGood inter-personal communication skills Good computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point)Previous experience in a similar positionPharma experience a plusService orientedExcellent communication skillsAccuracy and speed of workConfidential and trustworthy
