 We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Finance Business Partner (FBP) to support our Toronto vaccines manufacturing operations. This role will act as a strategic advisor to key leads in our manufacturing and supply leadership team, providing financial insight, driving performance, and ensuring alignment of manufacturing operations with the site’s broader financial objectives.

The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial planning, analysis and decision support across multiple areas in the manufacturing environment, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance and value creation in line with the site’s objectives.

While this opportunity is a contract term, there is opportunity for high performers to transition into a full-time position.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Partner with site leadership, supply chain, and operational teams to provide financial insight and strategic decision support

Influence key stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and value creation

Lead manufacturing finance planning cycles (budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning)

Deliver clear variance analysis with clear drivers and action-oriented recommendations

Monitor, analyze and challenge site-level cost performance, including COGS, inventory, overhead and productivity initiatives

Provide timely and accurate financial data, analysis and reporting to both local and global finance and operations teams

Respond to global finance requests, support ad-hoc requests while ensuring consistency and accuracy of data and information

Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning

Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing cost transparency and efficiency

Conduct in-depth cost analysis and lead cost optimization initiatives across manufacturing operations

Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX compliance and global accounting policies

Support external and internal audits as required

Support global financial strategies and initiatives

Contribute financial expertise to cross-functional initiatives

About You

Education and Experience:

Professional accounting/finance qualification (CPA or equivalent)

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or MBA a plus

5+ years experience in finance roles, ideally in manufacturing finance with pharma, biotech or highly regulated industries

SAP Working Knowledge

Advanced Excel Skills

IFRS working Knowledge

The salary range for this position is:

$93,900.00 - $135,633.33

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
