Job Title: Finance Business Partner / Controller Job Description This role serves as a Financial Business Partner responsible for providing strategic development and support to the Road and Customs business units. The aim is to ensure financial integrity, promote profitable growth, and maintain strong KPI health. You will lead accounting, profitability, cost management, capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the road logistics business unit. Responsibilities + Analyze customer and product profitability and monitor to mitigate loss-making departments and customers. + Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive and enhance business/product growth. + Analyze financial reports and KPIs and ensure improvement actions are taken. + Produce accurate forecasts and targets in conjunction with business unit operations. + Identify risks and sensitivities, providing guidance and recommendations. + Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting regarding data quality, completeness, and relevancy. + Independently process month-end closing to ensure accurate revenue, GP, and cost recognition with minimal losses. + Control, monitor, and adhere to internal audit controls and corporate policies and guidelines. + Collaborate with leadership to develop a 5-year roadmap focusing on new revenue streams, market expansion, and M&A activity. The role is primarily office-based, with 3 days a week on-site , Mississauga, Ontario. There is a possibility of overtime. The dress code is business casual. The successful candidate has to come from the 3PL industry with exposure to Road and Customs ( MUST HAVE ) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
