This pivotal role is designed for someone who thrives on providing insightful financial analysis and building meaningful relationships across supply chain operations aceoss the UK.

Develop, maintain, and deliver accurate site budgets and forecasts, ensuring all financial models are robust and up-to-date for effective decision-making. Prepare detailed variance analyses comparing actual results against budgets, prior years, and forecasts, presenting findings clearly to senior management. Produce high-quality periodic reporting packs for senior stakeholders, including comprehensive commentary on key drivers of performance at each site. Support the financial aspects of capital expenditure projects by analysing maintenance capex versus budget/forecast and assisting with return on investment assessments. Collaborate with operational teams to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost savings, and process enhancements within the supply chain function. Monitor, calculate, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for each site, confidently articulating the factors behind variances to drive informed action. Assist in the preparation of ad hoc reports as required by management or project needs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information. Engage proactively with broader finance teams and stakeholders to continuously improve reporting processes through greater automation and deeper analytical insights. Liaise with Financial Control regarding cashflow budgeting, forecasting, and periodic variance analysis to ensure alignment with organisational goals. Contribute data and insights for group sustainability initiatives and legislative reporting requirements as needed.
