Job Description
Position Summary:
As the Finance Business Partner for Korea & Japan, you are part of the Asia Pacific Finance team and report to the FP&A & BU Controller, Asia Pacific. You partner with the Global Sales and Marketing (GSM) Regional Director for Korea and Japan to support financial planning, performance analysis, and business decision-making.
You provide financial insights that improve business performance by supporting monthly results analysis, quarterly forecasts, annual operation plan (AOP), and strategic business reviews. You also ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies while maintaining an effective internal control environment, including Lifecycle project controlling.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with GSM Korea and Japan and Lifecycle Services Business Unit leadership to support business planning, forecasting, and performance management.
Analyze financial results to identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions to improve performance.
Support business opportunity assessments and project reviews through financial analysis and risk evaluation.
Maintain an effective internal control environment, including review of selected balance sheet accounts.
Prepare management reports and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with Global Finance Operations to ensure accurate and timely month-end close.
Support Business Strategic Reviews, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and forecast processes.
Monitor sales and cost drivers through monthly and periodic reporting.
Evaluate investments and operating costs to improve efficiency and productivity.
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and communicate findings to Finance and Business Leadership.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance financial and operational outcomes.
Apply financial expertise to address complex business and project-related topics.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent professional certification.
8+ years of experience in financial analysis within a multinational organization.
Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
Can translate financial data into business insights and recommendations.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Have experience with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools and SAP.
Have knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and project accounting.
