What the day will look like As a Finance Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating and executing financial operations for captive (re)insurance clients. Your day will be varied and engaging, including: + Managing day-to-day administration and accounting duties. + Coordinating with various teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality service, ensuring all client service standards are met. + Serving as the main point of contact for major clients, brokers, loss adjusters, and solicitors. + Maintaining relationships with banking contacts, tax advisors, auditors, actuarial and risk management functions, and other third parties. + Handling documentation, correspondence, and calls efficiently and accurately. + Reviewing management accounts, management reports, regulatory reporting, and other client reporting requirements within set timeframes. + Managing clients’ banking requirements, including oversight of term deposit renewals and monitoring cash and liquidity needs. + Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts. + Implementing internal audit controls and ensuring legal compliance for managed clients. + Attending and presenting at Board Meetings as required. + Following office procedures and compliance protocols, especially regarding checklists, supporting information, and risk dashboards.
