Position Overview: The Finance Associate will support fund reporting, audits, and operational processes while working closely with senior leadership. Key Responsibilities: + Fund Reporting: + Review quarterly reports and capital statements prepared by fund administrators. + Reconcile digital asset transactions with blockchain records. + Serve as a key liaison with fund administrators. + Annual Audit: + Review annual financial statements and coordinate with auditors. + Manage audit documentation and support requests. + Fund Operations: + Support capital calls, distributions, redemptions, and investment funding. + Track investment data and valuations in internal systems. + Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives. + Assist with investor inquiries and SPV-related processes. + Support fund tax compliance, including K-1 and tax return reviews. + Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field. + 3–5+ years of experience in asset management auditing or accounting, with at least 2 years in venture capital or private equity. + CPA preferred; passing FAR and REG required. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. + Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. + Passion for emerging technologies such as crypto and AI is a plus. + Based in San Francisco or New York, with the ability to work in-office at least two days per week.
