Its Finance team oversees all aspects of fund operations, ensuring financial integrity while continuously evolving internal processes to adapt to a rapidly changing financial and regulatory landscape. Job Responsibilities: Fund Reporting + Conducting detailed reviews of quarterly reports prepared by the fund administrator for both open-ended and closed-ended funds. + Reconciling digital asset transactions against the blockchain on an ongoing basis. + Reviewing and distributing quarterly capital statements to investors. + Acting as a primary contact for managing fund administrator relationships. Annual Audit + Reviewing annual financial statements prepared by the fund administrator. + Collaborating with auditors to ensure the timely issuance of audited financial statements. + Managing audit requests, including confirmations, valuation memos, and transaction/expense support. Fund Operations + Handling fund operations processes such as capital calls, distributions, redemptions, investment funding, expense payments, and cash receipts. + Monitoring fund finances and investments, including tracking investment information and valuation updates within our proprietary portfolio database. + Monitoring expenses and suggesting cost-saving initiatives. Additional Responsibilities + Addressing finance-related inquiries from investors. + Participating in SPV finance processes, including capital calls, reporting, tax, and audit. + Assisting with fund tax compliance processes, including the review of K-1s and tax returns. + Supporting ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects. Company's Benefit + Full medical, dental, and vision coverage + 401K match + 4 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) + Commuter benefits Requirements + A Bachelor's degree in accounting, tax, or a related field. + 3-5+ years of asset management auditing or accounting experience, with at least 2 years specifically in venture capital (VC) or private equity (PE). + A CPA is highly preferred, and passing the FAR and REG sections of the CPA exam is required. + Strong analytical skills, excellent judgment, and creative problem-solving abilities. + Exceptional proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + A flexible, collaborative, and proactive self-starter mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. + Based in San Francisco or New York and willing to come into the office 2 days a week.
