Pertemps are currently working for a leading Global organisation based in Glasgow who are looking for a Full-Time Finance Assistant.  This position would suit candidates who have recently graduated in Accountancy or completed their HND and looking for their first step into a career in finance. You will join their established friendly team where you will have the opportunity to develop. 

The company has a large finance team and are ideally looking for candidates who are motivated and ambitious. 

Main duties will include;
Assisting with resolution of queried invoices and ensuring direct debit accounts are up to dateParticipation with accounts payable team mailboxProcessing of incoming supplier invoicesSupplier payment runs including uploading payments onto banking portals (weekly)Supplier masterfile – updating existing supplier details / creating new suppliersCreating PO requisitions for finance teamSupplier account reconciliationsManaging your own portfolio of supplier accountsWeekly / monthly accounts payable team reporting 
Essential Experience/Knowledge:
Degree or HND in finance related subjectExcellent customer service experienceAbility to communicate at all levelsGreat attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlinesAbility to work independently, with strong organisational and time management skills
