Purpose of the Role: 

This is an opportunity to manage financial operations for Tech@Lilly - Hyderabad team.

You will be working closely with multiple stakeholders to manage contingent workers, purchase orders, invoices and other activities for smooth financial operations. 

The project work includes planning and coordinating with finance managers, tech leaders and site finance and procurement teams. You will be responsible for ensuring –

-              Partnering with Tech leaders and vendors to get contingent worker support as per business needs

-              Tracking lifecycle of a contingent worker 

-              Creating POs as needed by business

-              Creating invoices for vendors services

-              Managing vendors 

-              Support monthly financial operations for some business areas

-              Compliance with Lilly’s policies for all tasks

Responsibilities:

Vendor and Contingent worker Management - 

Assist and support Tech@Lilly Hyderabad leaders in managing contingent workersWork closely with vendors to source profiles as per skill requirements stated by the businessTrack contingent worker through his/her life cycle in Lilly and ensure onboarding and offboarding as per Lilly policiesPartner with site procurement and Tech operations and strategy leader to manage the vendor relationshipsTrack metrics to measure vendor performancePartner with site IT for onboarding in LillyMaintain detailed records of contingent worker – start date, end date, cost centre, manager etcActively plan and think of automation opportunities to remove manual tasks

Procurement - 

Create Purchase orders (PO) and invoices as needed by the businessTrack PO usage and report monthly run ratesActively forecast PO usage and top-up POs as needed to ensure business continuityLearn Lilly’s procurement policiesEnsure compliance to Lilly’s policies and proceduresMaintain detailed records of PO usage Process invoices on timeEnsure compliance of vendors to agreed upon MSA terms Review, track and report payments made to vendors Forecast PO budgets based on historical usage to create new POs for next financial yearMaintain open POs for vendors providing food / transport / other goodies services for tech teamActively plan and think of automation opportunities to remove manual tasks

Qualifications:

·       3+ years of Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience in a matrix organization in procurement and financial operations
