Finance Analyst III

About This Role

                                                                                                         

CAE is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst III to support its Business Aviation Training division. This individual contributor role focuses on operational finance, with responsibilities across budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for global training centers.

The ideal candidate has:

6–8 years of experience in finance or accountingAccounting experience preferred (degree or relevant work history)Strong communication skills to engage with non-finance stakeholdersHigh energy, maturity, and ability to work independentlyFamiliarity with Oracle, Hyperion, and HFM is a plus

Location: Dallas, TX or Montreal (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Role Type: Individual Contributor

This role supports strategic financial planning and consolidates financial data across regions, helping deliver insights into business performance and cost management.

Main Responsibilities:Forecast, review, and report financials with variance analysisEnsure financial reports comply with IFRS standardsSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesAnticipate and address questions from business partnersDrive process improvements and identify cost-saving opportunitiesAnalyze financial data to assess business healthMaintain financial models for accurate projectionsPrepare and present reports for leadershipCollaborate with business partners to identify gaps to financial targetsSupport system enhancements (HFM, Oracle, Hyperion)Lead ad hoc projects to improve performance and understand business driversPerform other duties as assigned by the FP&A Manager
