About the role:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join the Venues Finance team at Live Nation. In this13-month fixed term role, you’ll deliver accurate reporting, insights, and financial analysis that drive performance across our portfolio of venues in Australia.

 

This is a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting revenue-generating projects, preparing business cases, and contributing to board-level reporting. If you think you have what it takes, we’d love to hear from you. What you’ll be doing: 

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Deliver accurate reports and insights across venues to drive performance and decision-making.Variance Investigation: Review results against forecast and budget, providing commentary and recommendations.Dashboard Development & Integrations: Build and maintain dashboards that combine financial and non-financial data from multiple sources.  Board & Shareholder Reporting: Prepare key metrics and financials to support senior management and governance requirements.Business Case Support: Develop financial models, IRR/ROI reporting, and analysis for revenue-generating initiatives.Operational Support: Provide analytical support to senior venue, product, and F&B leaders.Ad Hoc Projects: Lead or support analysis projects as required.

 

What you’ll bring:

Professional Qualifications: CA or CPA qualified, with a solid technical accounting foundation.Analytical & Modelling Skills: Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial modelling.Systems Experience: Exposure to BPC/Oracle and working knowledge of Power BI or Tableau.Data Management: Experience with system integrations and handling large datasets.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to present insights clearly.Time Management: Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.Initiative & Attention to Detail: A proactive self-starter with a strong eye for accuracy.Passion for Live Events: An interest in the music and events industry, with the drive to apply your accounting expertise in this unique environment.
