About the Role
As a Program Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and success of our critical Product Development Programs, specifically for the Ranger and Everest vehicle lines, including our exciting xEV initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your core purpose will be to provide robust financial reporting, develop compelling business cases, and deliver insightful analysis on material costs and contribution margins. This position is essential for driving financially sound decisions, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ultimately contributing to the strategic growth and profitability of our future vehicle portfolio.
This role is based on a hybrid arrangement, requiring four (4) days per week in our International Markets Group Product Development office in Broadmeadows.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent is a minimum requirement – CPA qualification is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Intermediate / Advanced in Financial Modelling.
Able to prepare and deliver the presentation of program financials in internal and Regional Finance reviews.
Ability to partner with non-financial Operating Partners and Senior Management to influence decisions to through reliable and accurate financial reporting.
Adaptable in a fast-paced environment, able to problem-solve and operate successfully in a dynamic environment with conflicting priorities.

Drive financial support for the delivery of future product actions for Ranger & Everest Programs, including Mid-Cycle Actions and the development of new multi-energy platforms (xEV).
Provide comprehensive financial reporting and analysis for Product Development Programs, specifically:
Offer financial guidance to Planning, Marketing, and Engineering teams for product content changes, gathering and reviewing both physical and financial inputs to build viable business cases.
Manage and report on Business Group Average Vehicle Material Cost for milestone reporting and status updates, including issue-to-issue analysis and variance explanations.
Lead the consolidation and reporting of Contribution Margin analysis (from specific to average vehicle, and Last Job to First Job), processing Marketing, Material Cost, Freight, Duty, and Tax information.
Support Regional Finance, Marketing, and Program Management teams with Market Equation analysis to assess the margin and profitability of features, series, and markets.
Consolidate business unit and vehicle line financials to prepare Program Milestone Papers for leadership reviews and approvals.
Report financial status and provide detailed variance explanations against targets and prior approvals.
Facilitate cost reduction idea generation and rigorously track initiatives to achieve financial targets.
Contribute financial expertise to Business Plan and Budget processes, providing accurate cost inputs and reconciliation.
Conduct detailed cost and investment analysis across various workstreams, including:
Coordinate the calculation and analysis of non-Bill of Material cost data (e.g., sequencing, bulk materials, amortized ED&T) for average car reporting.
Support the consolidation and reporting of Manufacturing and Total Program Investment.
Assist with Manufacturing Labour & Overhead reporting and analysis.
