Reporting to: Finance Specialist Duty Post: Malvar, Batangas      Finance Analyst   The position holder is responsible for all finance activities related to Product Cost for the Philippine Factory production plants. Plan and coordinate  the preparation of regular Forecasts and the Annual/Strategic Plan as well as month end closing and actual reporting of product cost variances vs. plan. Responsible to maintain accurate product cost valuation for each item in compliance with Company, IFRS and Statutory requirements. Strong interpersonal and negotiations skills are required to manage alignment of all financial activities with all stakeholders.      As the Finance Analyst in the area of Factory Finance, you will:  Analyze cost variances for Leaf, NTM, and Finished Goods, including purchase price, blend mix, freight, duty, and yield. Work with other departments to understand and explain variances clearly. Ensure monthly P&L reports align with forecasts and material consumption is accurately posted before month-end closing Prepare financial forecasts and outlooks based on actual factory data and future developments Create the Annual Strategy Plan (ASP) by coordinating with PPO for material prices and calculating standard costs Ensure all cost planning aligns with global procurement policies and deadlines Support J-SOX compliance and external audits; maintain strong internal controls Manage standard costs and PLM cost estimates throughout the year Participate in inventory counts and ensure data accuracy Follow health, safety, and compliance policies; report and act on any unsafe conditions or incidents.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance. At least 2 years of experience in accounting and costing in a manufacturing setting Strong written and spoken English communication skil Experience with Power BI, SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage. Proficient in MS Excel, Power BI and SAP Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and good interpersonal skills Confident communicating across all levels of the organization.
