Job description summary:

The Finance Analyst is a member of the Latin America Dealer Finance team within the Americas Distribution Services Division. The Dealer Finance team is responsible for working with Caterpillar dealers across Latin America to drive dealership profitability, enhance dealer financial management, and ensure dealer continuity. The Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting dealer financial analysis, managing dealer credit and receivables, and leading the team’s reporting initiatives.

What you will do:

Specifies, builds, maintains, and runs data extracts from various subsystems that contain information to support dealer financial health analysis.Produces monthly and quarterly reports for management, including past due, exposure, and other dealer financial health reports.Leverages Excel and PowerBI to develop data and report visualizations.Leads cross-functional process improvement projects related to dealer receivables management and dealer financial reporting.Prepares presentations for peers, Caterpillar management, and dealer management related to project work, dealer financial analysis and process improvements.Other duties assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.

What you will have:

Accuracy and attention to detail:  Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Basic requirements:

Bachelor’s degree.Pre-advanced English.Experience with Excel and/or PowerBI.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data, trends and patterns.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, management or accounting.Advanced English.
