Job Description
Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager for the holding company, the Finance and Administrative Officer is responsible for providing administrative support, as well as accounting services. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring internal sound control, financial reporting, and providing advice and support to relevant stakeholders.Key Result Areas
Timely and accurate reconciliation (identified through the lead schedule list) of all balances within the trial balance
Prepare management accounts
Regulatory reporting, BURS taxes etc.
Group reporting
Financial forecasting
Reinforcing budgets policies and controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Assist with Preparing Cash flow forecasts and liquidity management
Treasury management- identify excess cash for investment and recommend investment assets
Overseeing and maintaining stakeholder relationship, where necessary and applicable, i.e. External & Internal audit, Regulator, BURS, Finance, External Vendors and suppliers
Carry out any ad hoc instructions from the GFM and AFM as and when these arise due to changes in circumstances within the finance function or the business
Maintain and review fixed assets register
Client or stakeholder management
