A well-established global investment firm is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its growing finance team. With a diverse portfolio of early- and growth-stage investments across multiple sectors and geographies, the firm manages over $18B in assets under management and operates more than 20 active funds and numerous special-purpose vehicles (SPVs).
This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, team-first individual with a background in fund accounting or public audit to step into a high-impact role and gain broad exposure across a variety of investment strategies. You’ll be part of a collaborative and well-supported team that values precision, integrity, and development.
Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain general ledgers for venture funds, accurately recording daily transactions such as capital calls, distributions, investment activity, expenses, valuations, and exits
+ Perform monthly bank reconciliations and process wire transfers for investment activity and operational needs
+ Prepare quarterly financials, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Statements of Cash Flows, Statements of Partners’ Capital, and Schedules of Investments
+ Calculate quarterly and year-to-date partner capital allocations
+ Coordinate capital call processes, including allocation calculations and tracking of cash receipts
+ Execute both cash and stock distributions, including partner-level calculations
+ Maintain and reconcile investment records, documentation, and cap table data
+ Manage LP records, including interest transfers and related calculations
+ Respond to LP inquiries and facilitate audit confirmations
+ Distribute investor reporting, including capital account statements, K-1s, and capital call/distribution notices
+ Contribute to ad hoc finance and operations projects as needed

Requirements
Qualifications
+ 1.5–4 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, fund audit, or fund administration
+ Background in fund accounting strongly preferred; experience working directly with investment funds or fund operations is a plus
+ High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Team-oriented, collaborative, and willing to take initiative
+ CPA or CPA track is a plus
