Overall Role: The Accounting Manager is a hands-on role responsible for day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and analysis. This position requires a balance of technical skills and practical management experience.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesComplete Monthly Balance Sheet Analysis for accounts in chargeComplete PL FluxSupport Local tax filing, VAT & Corp tax return data prepSupport statutory audits for 3 entities

Cash Management & Account Payable Management

Review vendor invoices and provide correct chartfields for JBS processingT&E sampling audit as per T&E policy and Guide employees for any queriesCoordinate with JBS for pay cycle and reviewReview cashflow prepared by JBS and correctEnsure timely processing of payments

General Accounting

Coordination with JBS Dalian on General accounting not limited to Bank & Account reconciliationsReview Balance Sheet and P&L for any error and correct.Prepare accrual schedules for monthly booking.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles in multinational firms in KoreaProficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skillsKnowledge of financial regulations and reporting standardsStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication skills and ability to work with non-finance colleaguesAttention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
