We have an exciting opportunity for a Filler Operator to join our B team. The role operates on a 4pm-4am, 2/2/3 schedule, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.
ResponsibilitiesOperate the filling and packaging equipment, including performing daily and weekly preventative maintenance and aligning all primary functions of the machinery.Conduct minor mechanical repairs and replace defective parts as needed.Set up jobs on machines by feeding containers onto the conveyor line and entering product information into computer systems.Perform quality audits on filled products to ensure maximum and minimum fill lines are met.Assist with packing and production at the end of each line as required.Stop machines for clean in place (CIP) procedures, which may involve getting wet.Maintain compliance with all GMP and HACCP/FDA regulations for goods manufacturing, including daily production records and quality reports.Assist in training production assistants on GMP and safety rules.Essential SkillsExperience with machine operation, packaging, and filler machinery.Knowledge of GMP and HACCP regulations.Ability to operate food processing machinery.Experience with production lines and hand tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least 3 years of recent experience in a mechanical role such as diesel mechanic, automotive mechanic, mechanical assembler, or maintenance.Candidates with hand tool experience, good work history, and attention to detail are encouraged to apply.Prior experience in food manufacturing and machine operation is a plus.Why Work Here?Joining our team means being part of a company that values employee growth and offers numerous opportunities for career progression. Work EnvironmentThis role is based in the loudest part of the facility, where food processing platforms are closely situated, creating a consistent hum. Hearing protection is required, and the area can become warm during summer due to machinery operation and limited climate control. The environment is also filled with strong aromas of sauce-based food products like mustard and barbecue sauce. Orientation is every Tuesday at 10 am and typically lasts for three days. Training schedules are flexible and can be adjusted to suit individual needs.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.48 - $22.48/hr.
