Job Description
• Responsible for managing business requirements and mapping them to subsystem level requirements and developing SDN automation.
• Translate hard-rigid-proprietary network infrastructure to SDN/NFV enabled networks, offering service agility at lower cost of operation.
• Product planning, opportunity support, customer management and setting the vision for the product teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert, and responsible for negotiating with business owners and product teams and arrive at a technical solution that meets the essence of the business requirements.
• Provide deep insight into industry standards (ratified and early drafts) for network function virtualization (NFV) and convert the standard direction into virtual appliance (VNF) development.
• Detail design support for Tier-1 customers deploying VNFs in a cloud environment, from capacity, configuration and fault management.
• Define features/use cases including requirements gathering and prioritization.
• Develop core product and solution value propositions, unique to the marketplace – including development of key messages, target audience, technical and business value proposition.
• Planning activities related to Conexus Middletown lab requirements (IAM, Upgrades, Security)
• Certify PanOS for different Hardware Models, VM-series (IGEMS), New Features and Document Process.
• Measure Performance tests for the Palo Alto Hardware and VM-series Models for the new PanOS.
• Deploy/manage Azure cloud environment as per the project requirement.
• Interface with vendors to do POC in the hybrid environment (Cloud, on-prem) to determine AT&T use cases.
• Planning activities related to Lab Life Cycle activities as per the CSO recommendation.
• Plan and coordinate to resolve astra security vulnerability remediation for Azure Cloud.
• Plan and coordinate to resolve ATO Security Remediation for Flex cloud (AT&T Private Cloud).
• Assist and resolve on-prem lab security audits as per CSO guidelines.
• Support discussions with industry analysts/press as product spokespersons.
• Identify and champion business opportunities that can be implemented on top of network services orchestration solutions.
• Provide input to thought leadership program based on product, solution, advanced technology themes – includes product messaging, speaking opportunity support and materials development
