Description We are looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Addison, Texas. In this role, you will handle essential mailroom tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of daily processes. Responsibilities: • Operate and manage folding and stuffing machines to handle outgoing mail efficiently. • Utilize postage meter machines to process and prepare mail for delivery. • Print checks and corresponding backup details, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution. • Organize and place printed materials into appropriate envelopes for mailing. • Lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds as part of daily tasks. • Ensure timely delivery of mail to the post office. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficient mailroom operations. Requirements • Proven experience performing clerical duties in a detail-oriented environment. • Familiarity with operating mailroom equipment such as folding machines and postage meters. • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all tasks. • Physical ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Reliable transportation for mail delivery as needed. • Basic knowledge of handling daily mail processes and procedures.
