**Purpose of the Role**
The Field Therapy Leader Cardiac Surgery & Structural Interventions EE is responsible for leading Therapy development and adoption across the region (mainly: Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia).
This includes expanding Therapy penetration in new accounts, building and managing a strong KOL network, driving clinical excellence, and supporting commercial growth through distributor management and market development activities.
This will be a field-based role with **preferential residence in Zagreb, Croatia.**
**Key Responsibilities**
Therapy & Market Development
+ Develop and execute regional market development strategies and tactical plans for the Therapy portfolio.
+ Lead market education, referral-building programs, promotional campaigns, PR activities, and participation in conferences.
+ Drive initiatives that enhance brand recognition and maximize product portfolio awareness.
+ Take ownership of reimbursement processes in collaboration with distributors.
+ KOL & Customer Engagement
+ Build and manage strong relationships with KOLs; support dissemination of best clinical practices.
+ Create and deliver customer education, training programs, and implementation plans.
+ Develop site-level therapy expertise, including echocardiographic image review and patient screening workflows.
**Commercial & Distributor Management**
+ Partner closely with distributors to execute sales strategies, manage quotas, and support commercial negotiations.
+ Challenge the status quo and identify new business opportunities across the CEE region.
+ Lead and guide Therapy Specialist(s) where applicable.
**Market Insights & Business Planning**
+ Collect and analyze data on high‑potential accounts to support business expansion and market assessments.
+ Gather and report market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to senior management.
+ Contribute to product launch activities in collaboration with marketing teams and distributor partners.
+ Actively participate in LBE processes and sales forecasting
**Internal Collaboration**
+ Build strong internal partnerships with Customer Care, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and other key functions.
+ Provide cross‑territory and regional clinical and commercial support as needed.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
+ Minimum 8 years of successful sales or therapy development experience within the medical device industry, preferably in Cardiac Surgery, Structural Heart, or similar fields.
+ Strong clinical understanding of Structural Heart therapies and associated workflows.
+ Proven experience in distributor management and market development.
+ Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
+ High proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
+ Fluency in English and at least one Eastern European language (e.g., Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Croatian, or similar).
+ Customer‑oriented, results‑driven, self‑starter mindset.
+ Willingness to travel up to 50% of time
