Field Technician

Job Description

Under the guidance of an assigned supervisor, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and operating equipment to support a variety of services, including Temporary Climate Solutions, Emergency Drying Services, and Document Recovery Services. Although you may specialize in one area, you are expected to support all service lines as needed.

Pay: $26-32/hr DOE.

Shift: Primarily dayshift Monday- Friday with the ability to work overtime and work off hours on rare circumstances, as well as the ability to travel within Oregon to different job sites.

Responsibilities

Comply with all health and safety protocols as outlined during onboarding and throughout your tenure.Operate company vehicles safely, adhering to DOT regulations, and maintaining a minimum safety score.Accurately complete daily project, equipment maintenance, and other required documentation.Submit expense reports promptly to avoid delinquent payments on company-issued credit cards.Set up, maintain, and demobilize temporary climate control equipment on project sites.Proactively communicate with customers, sales teams, and operations counterparts.Utilize downtime for equipment maintenance and preparation for upcoming projects.Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area and shop.Promote on-the-job safety at all times.Engage in the Core Competency and Development Plan.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area and vehicle.Enter time into Netsuite and ADP according to company guidelines.Complete assigned training topics and goals within the allotted time frame.Complete miscellaneous tasks as directed.

Essential Skills

Experience in repair, installation, troubleshooting, and use of hand and power tools.Mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills.Strong customer service skills.Preferred backgrounds in HVAC, maintenance tech, military, or construction.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
