As a TRS Field Specialist you will fulfill a function of planning, preparation, and execution wells together with our clients.

As a TRS Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Complying with HSE procedures and standards, participating in all required HSE training, and maintaining constant attention to any risks affecting health, safety, integrity, or the work environment.Reporting unsafe conditions, behaviors, or incidents in line with safety and occupational health policies.Maintaining regular communication with the Operations Coordinator and informing the Shore Coordinator of any inability to perform operational tasks.Arriving fully prepared for offshore travel and operations as instructed.Understanding and complying with all client safety requirements and communicating effectively with clients, subcontractors, and rig personnel.Attending rig safety meetings and leading pre‑job meetings with Baker Hughes and external personnel.Supervising tubular running operations, including Power Tong and SALVO activities.Locating, connecting, and operating all types of power units and assembling hydraulic Power Tongs, Torquemeters, lift cylinders, and spring hangers.Connecting, inspecting, adjusting, operating, and troubleshooting hydraulic Power Tongs and associated equipment.Calculating string weight for proper hand‑tool selection and verifying/operating alignment Stab‑Boards for pipe and casing joints.Communicating with the main operator on the drill floor.Performing functional tests on SALVO computers and accessories and installing Power Tong accessories for SALVO when required.Identifying casing/pipe types and fabrications, operating FAC TOOL auto‑fill tools, and using tubular handling, tightening, and introduction tools appropriately.Inspecting Premium and API connections.Completing detailed job reports and all required documentation and discussing job handling with the Company Representative.Performing any additional duties assigned by the Operations Coordinator.
