As a Control Field Service Engineer - Gas Turbines, you will be in charge of managing site activities as a Resident Engineer, including, but not limited to, planning, assigning manpower resources and tools, providing technical assistance to complete the work scope according to contractual requirements and ensuring continuous operations at the site.
As a Control Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring total fulfilment and compliance with contractual requirements in close liaison with Baker Hughes Project and Service managers.Leading and executing loop check and commissioning phase performing the functional tests.Leading and executing unit start-up and performance tests ensuring proper and safe operation of the machine by evaluating the running parameters and troubleshoot control system problems as they arise.Preparing field services jobs and interventions with the project managers.Supervising the installation, calibration and set up of instruments.Supervising cable laying, meggering and connection.Writing accurate professional reports acting as a single point of contact between Customers and the Baker Hughes Engineering team concerning technical issues and interfacing with all involved functions.Using company e-tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings.Ensuring all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company environmental health & Safety (HSE) guidelines and procedures.Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have Two-year Technical Degree preferred.Have Industry experience and TPS product line training required. Have Limited knowledge of oil and gas industry. Good Mechanical/Control attitude.Ability to work well and communicate with others. He/She's mainly specialized in Instrumentation and Control Panels.Under direct supervision (On The Job Training REQUIRED) receives and follows specific detailed instructions. Learns and assist other crew members during the Installation and/or Maintenance activities in Field at Customer Sites.He/she is responsible to learn how to execute maintenance/installation of TPS rotating equipment and assist the others crew members in performing the assigned scope of work.Primarily interacts with assigned MENTOR or direct supervisor and other specialists/supervisors in the group.Executes all required responsibilities safely and as instructed by direct supervisors and following all TPS Service applicable processes and procedures.Performs other related duties as required. Conducts all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.Work in a way that works for you
