Fueling Your Passion

As a Field Specialist – Upstream Chemicals, you will support account performance and field execution by working directly with customers and internal teams. You will help implement chemical treatment programs, coordinate field activities, troubleshoot operational issues, and communicate value delivered through services. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent service quality, contract compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Customer SupportSupport account‑level activities including field performance tracking, service requests, and product usage monitoring.Provide high‑quality customer service and maintain regular communication with customer representatives.Support indirect upselling by identifying improvement opportunities and highlighting value delivered through programs.Contribute to value creation by documenting performance, cost savings, and operational benefits.Field Operations & Team CoordinationOversee and guide Field Specialists assigned to the account, ensuring consistent service quality and adherence to procedures.Ensure proper execution of chemical treatment programs, sampling, system audits, and troubleshooting.Assist in implementing changes to products, processes, and procedures as required by operational updates.Planning, Reporting & DocumentationDevelop an annual operational plan for the department’s activities within assigned accounts.Generate technical and service performance reports for internal and customer review.Communicate program needs, project approaches, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.Ensure standardized project processes are followed while applying judgment within established frameworks.Collaboration & ComplianceWork with internal stakeholders, including senior business leaders, to support account strategy and program improvement.Implement updated processes and procedures defined by other functional teams.Operate within predefined contracts and frameworks, with some flexibility to recommend modifications as needed.Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and company operational standards.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Experience in upstream chemical applications, production chemicals, or field operations preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and customer‑management skills.Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and recommend solutions.Ability to work independently and collaborate across diverse customer and internal teams.Understanding of standard operational processes, reporting, and field safety practices.Work EnvironmentField‑based role with regular on‑site visits to customer locations.May require travel within the assigned region.May involve extended hours or shift‑based responsibilities depending on operational needs.Requires adherence to all safety protocols and field standards.What We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefits package.Professional development and training opportunities.Supportive, safety‑focused, and collaborative work culture.Programs designed to support employee well‑being and long‑term career growth.
