This is a **fully remote** position that will be dispatching from home. This Technician may be located in Salt Lake City, UT, Ogden, UT, or the Orem, UT area where our highest concentration of customers is located. These locations have been listed for marketing purposes but only **one position** is available. **Day- to- day:** Collaborating with the Municipal Service Manager, this role is responsible for providing service installation, commissioning, repair, troubleshooting, and inspection services for all Trojan Technologies equipment. On-site work includes electrical, mechanical, chemical, and training. Our Field Service Technicians have regional travel **70%** with a valid Driver's License and an **average of 2 overnight stays per week** at any of our **company approved hotels.** We offer full benefits including **paid vacation** , **company vehicle** and **cell phone** , **medical** , **dental** , **vision** , and **401(k) matching** all on **Day 1** ! We have training over the first 90+ days of employment which will include trips to our customer sites. The majority of training is on the job mentorship with more senior service technicians and sales team members on ride-a-longs. Our leaders are invested in our safety and quality of life! + Solve customer problems by diagnoses of component, system failures, or process issues to isolate root causes and implement corrective actions + Manage customer service expectations, happiness, and relationships for the installations in the region + Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships through visits + Explore specific needs, resolving problems, and establishing proactive service strategies with customers + Submit completed service reports for all work completed in the field **Are you qualified?** + 3+ years’ experience in a technical role required; Electrical diploma, degree, or trade certification an asset + Proven experience rectifying, electrical diagnostics, repair, and PM skills + Solid understanding of Allen Bradley PLC platform + Proven track record of uploading/downloading, diagnosing, and fixing programs is preferred + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate to all customer organization levels **US ONLY** **:** The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $30 - $35 USD per hour. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
