**Field Service Technician**
**Job Description**
Join our team dedicated to crafting robust products for the fertilizer industry, including blenders, mixers, bucket elevators, conveyors, and rotary drums. As a Field Service Technician, you will diagnose, adjust, and repair fertilizer equipment such as drag conveyors, elevator legs, blenders, valves, and more, primarily serving local co-ops and occasionally working on farmland.
**Responsibilities**
+ Adjust and maintain equipment as necessary.
+ Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose issues.
+ Examine equipment for damage or excessive wear.
+ Repair and troubleshoot air systems.
+ Mig weld broken parts.
+ Test equipment to ensure it operates correctly.
+ Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
+ Log and maintain equipment service records.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Welding experience and strong mechanical skills.
+ Ability to travel a minimum of 60%, which varies seasonally.
+ Capability to perform work at customer locations.
+ Clean driving record and adherence to all DOT regulations, including passing DOT physical, and annual and random drug testing.
+ Comfortable with climbing stairs and ladders, and working at heights.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with equipment inspection, mechanical repair, and maintenance.
+ Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.
+ Capability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
+ Specific vision abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

**Work Environment**
The role involves traveling between 50%-75% of the time, using a company vehicle. The work environment typically includes moderate noise levels and physical activity, such as climbing stairs and lifting heavy equipment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Waconia, MN.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
