Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician I who will be responsible for installing and maintaining algae generation systems. This role involves diagnosing and solving problems as they arise, keeping detailed records and reports, and maintaining strong relationships with growers and irrigators.
Responsibilities
Ensure all operation and maintenance activities are performed safely and in accordance with established policies and procedures.Participate in site surveys in coordination with the System Startup team.Safely install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot plumbing, mechanical, and electrical equipment with assistance.Test systems to ensure they are working correctly, covering plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and chemical applications.Maintain relationships with growers and irrigators and support site tours of systems.Coordinate system seasonal startup and shutdown in alignment with grower crop and irrigation cycles.Perform scheduled maintenance and customer support activities on algae generation systems to maximize uptime and algae distribution.Identify and order parts and supplies necessary for scheduled maintenance and repairs.Essential Skills
1 to 2 years of technical service experience, apprenticeship, or relevant work experience.Ability to safely install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot plumbing, mechanical, and electrical equipment.Ability to work flexible and weekend hours to complete installations and repairs.Working knowledge of hand and power tools and personal protective equipment.Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.Must be able to lift, carry, transport equipment, tools, and materials up to 50 lbs alone, 150 lbs with a partner.Must be able to sit, stand, and kneel/squat for extended periods of time.Must be able to work for extended periods of time outside in both hot and cold temperatures.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position involves 100% on-the-road work, primarily at farm locations. You must be comfortable with outdoor environments, which can be hot, cold, or wet, and may involve interaction with insects, bugs, and snakes.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
