**Job Title: Travel Field Service Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled Field Service Technicians with expertise in either mechanical or electrical/electronics fields to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for installing and servicing industrial machinery at client locations worldwide. When not traveling, you will contribute your skills at our manufacturing facility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install industrial machinery at global client locations, including in Europe, Costa Rica, China, India, South Korea, Vietnam, and Italy.
+ Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Work with AC/DC motors and drives, ranging from 480V to 3000V.
+ Manage machinery installation at job sites and collaborate with contracted workers to ensure successful project completion.
+ Lay rail, hydraulic hosing, run pipe, lay cable, and test equipment.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs.
+ Interface professionally with clients to ensure timely project completion and communicate any arising issues.
+ Install and service high-value equipment, including strip coating, melting, and forging machinery.
+ Work a minimum of 50-55 hours per week, with potential for extended hours, especially during international trips.
+ Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting, utilizing strong electrical skills.
+ Utilize Microsoft Office and Excel to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
+ Use hand and power tools, including volt meters and oscilloscopes, for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
+ Travel 30% locally and 70% overnight.
+ Undergo local training for the first six months.
+ Drive to client sites within 300 miles, with options to rent a car or use a personal vehicle.
+ Handle service calls to troubleshoot and repair existing client machinery.
+ Respond to urgent client issues with flexibility, accommodating personal commitments when communicated.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-2 years of experience as a field service technician, maintenance technician, or similar role.
+ Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise.
+ Valid driver's license and eligibility to obtain a passport.
+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Ownership of basic hand tools, including pliers, wrench assortment, nut drivers, and screwdrivers.
+ Strong communication skills for interfacing with clients and supervisors.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Military experience is a significant advantage.
+ Experience as a radio or radar technician is a plus.
+ Skills in welding and brazing are beneficial.

**Work Environment**
This role requires flexibility with a shift typically from 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 6 AM to 4:30 PM. You will be provided with uniforms, a company phone, laptop, and credit card, along with necessary safety equipment. The environment demands a commitment to quality workmanship.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $60000.00/yr.
