Summary: Seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for troubleshooting, servicing, and optimizing industrial machinery, with extensive travel requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate travel to customer locations for field service activities.

Conduct start-up, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.

Train end-users on the operation and maintenance of equipment.

Perform servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, or retrofitting of equipment/controls.

Handle electrical/instrumentation troubleshooting and repair tasks.

Complete service documentation and reports using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Provide customer phone support as necessary.

Support manufacturing operations when not engaged in field duties.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Field Service for industrial machinery.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical specifications, mechanical, and electrical drawings.

Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting including Allen Bradley, Siemens, and GE systems.

Ability to meet physical demands of the job including working in various climate conditions.

Willingness to travel up to 70% both domestically and internationally with short lead times.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with municipal/industrial wastewater treatment or textile equipment is advantageous.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
