Field Service Technician

This role involves troubleshooting systems, working with mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, performing preventative maintenance, managing parts inventory, and identifying and resolving safety issues (for both company- and customer-owned equipment). This position requires direct interaction with customers, the ability to work across multiple sites and technologies, and strong critical thinking skills. **Core Responsibilities:** To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: + Create and maintain a safe working environment and culture within the organization. + Care for and properly use company property. + Demonstrate a high-impact culture through innovation, accountability, and empowerment. + Function effectively in a team environment, while also being capable of working independently when required. + Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment. + Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards. + Provide clear, professional communication with customers and team members. **Requirements & Travel:** + 1-2 week of travel required + Must be able to obtain all required customer site clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.). + Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical card. + Clean driving record required. + Ability to obtain or currently hold a Class A CDL with applicable endorsements. **Education & Experience Requirements:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + 1 year of technical work experience preferred. + Prior experience in electrical, mechanical, diesel, or fusion work is preferred. + Technical troubleshooting ability and sound decision-making skills. + Ability to work without direct supervision. + Experience using Microsoft Office and smart devices. + Strong customer service skills and communication ability. **Compensation & Benefits:** + **Pay rate: $29–$30 per hour.** + Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement. + Career growth opportunities within a global organization.
