The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day priorities in solving clients VHF/UHF Radio, Telephone, Networking & PC related issues based out of our Richmond, BC office. **What You Will Do** + Coordinates, prioritizes and resolves issues encountered by customers. + Analyze system failures, identify and restore equipment malfunctions and failures. + Performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing equipment. + Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications. + Manages technical products, services, logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers. + Troubleshoots technical problems and recommends actions to company or customer representatives. + Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. + Install & maintain digital wireless communication equipment in the VHF, UHF, 800 MHz bands operating on trunking or conventional modes + Install & Maintain dispatch console systems. + Manages statement of work to meet customer and contract requirements. + Contacts customer, collects feedback, and establishes and maintains good relationship with customers. + Will communicate and interact, both verbally and written, with English speaking customers + Travel 30% + Will be working to various locations where valid Canadian citizenship, valid driver’s license and vehicle are required. + Monday to Friday workdays with rotational on call + Applicants will be subject to a government security screening ​ **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience + ​Prior working experience in IT, Computer Hardware repair **Qualifications We Prefer** + Basic troubleshooting skills and knowledge of how to use RF testing equipment. + Be self-motivated and able to work effectively both in a team environment and under minimal supervision in the field. + Completion of a practical course in the RF Radio & Electronics + Completion of a practical course in Networking **What we Offer** Some of our competitive benefits package includes: + 3 weeks paid vacation. + Extended health care, dental, vision, and more. + Life & Long-term disability + Group RRSP with company contributions up to 18% combined + Ongoing training and education + Employee tuition reimbursement in select areas + Onsite Parking ​ **_Avionics delivers advanced cockpit displays, vision systems, and comprehensive digital solutions for global government, commercial and business aviation customers.
