Rotex is now looking for a Field Service Supervisor to join our team in Runcorn, Cheshire:

Are you passionate about machinery, with a knack for onsite start-ups and after-sales support? Do you have leadership potential and enjoy guiding a team? We are seeking a Field Service Supervisor to oversee and perform technical interventions at customer sites and lead a small team of field service engineers.

About the Role:

Conduct onsite troubleshooting and maintenance of our machinery at customer locations, in addition to other services such as new machine start-ups, commissioning, machine assessments, and training customers.Liaise with customers to provide technical support and training as needed. Recommend parts and service solutions to improve machine uptime, maintenance, and operationLead, mentor, and coordinate a small team of field service engineers. Support the team in diagnostic and repair tasks, providing hands-on technical expertiseManage service schedules, parts logistics, and reporting. Ensure timely and efficient service delivery, maintaining high customer satisfaction.Developing spare parts quotes, order entry, and customer follow-ups. Provide clear and detailed remote technical support via phone and emailContribute to continuous improvement of service processes and standards, providing feedback to Rotex engineering and sales teams based on observations and feedback gathered in the field.

Your Profile:

Associate’s Degree in Engineering or related field; and a minimum of 5 years related mechanical engineering/maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experienceHands-on experience in installation, commissioning or maintenance of complex equipment… Mechanical troubleshooting experience required. Pneumatics/electrical controls also preferred.Leadership potential, ideally with some experience in team managementAbility to clearly communicate about technical topics in writing (e.g. email, trip reports, etc.), as well as on phone and in personIntermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and OutlookExperience with Microsoft CRM preferred. Basic knowledge of Solidworks (3D) and AutoCAD (2D) or similar platforms preferredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel 50% of the time in Europe mainly, but also in Middle-East and Africa when needed.
