Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Representative (12 month Contract) where your hands-on skills and customer-first mindset will help shape a more sustainable future. You’ll be part of a purpose-driven team that supports water treatment and disinfection systems across a variety of industries. You’ll work independently in the field, building trusted relationships with customers and delivering solutions that protect vital resources and improve operational performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

Deliver expert service and support for cooling tower cleaning and water disinfectionExecute cooling tower disinfection procedures as per pre-established maintenance programsProvide technical support and escalate complex challenges as neededBuild strong relationships with customers and promote best practicesEnsure full compliance with safety policies and proceduresExecute required chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories at customer accountsProvide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance plansProvide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as requiredInstall, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer accounts 

Position Details: 

This position will be based in Saguenay, QCThe territory for this position covers a 300km radius Targeted accounts are within the primary metals, chemical manufacturing and power generation industries Up to 4 – 5 nights/month overnight travel This is a 12-month contract

Minimum Qualifications: 

High school diploma or equivalent2 years of experience in water treatment or an industrial/mechanical environmentStrong French language skills with professional proficiency in English due to the following reasons: The role is required to travel to the US to attend technical training at our corporate headquartersPosition requires a current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictionsAble to travel to the US for training/meetingsNo immigration sponsorship available for this position

Lifting up to 50 poundsExposure to hot, cold, noisy, or dirty environmentsStooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, climbing

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

Base salary range is $52,800 – $66,000. This position has a base salary and is eligible for overtime.

Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
