Field Service Engr II
The Senior Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site support for technical installations, troubleshooting, testing & commissioning and repairs of complex products and systems. This role involves frequent customer interaction for problem resolution and fostering customer satisfaction through effective service delivery. + **Technical Expertise** : Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the products and services offered, providing Testing & Commissioning, engineering, programming, designing maintenance, and repairs as needed. + **Field Support** : Serve as the primary technical liaison between the company and customers, conducting field service calls and ensuring timely resolution of issues. + Verify system functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements, shop drawings/sequence of operations, etc. + Test, calibrate and verify system and peripheral devices (testing to be performed according to all applicable standards and codes. + **Demand Generation** : Generates Leads from contracted sites, estimates support, and supplies quotes to customers on adds and extras identified or as requested. + **Diagnostics and Troubleshooting** : Analyze and resolve customer issues by diagnosing malfunctions and recommending corrective actions. + **Training and Development** : Mentor junior field service engineers and provide training to customers on product usage and maintenance. + **Documentation** : Maintain detailed records of service work, including reports on equipment performance and recommendations for service improvement. + **Safety and Compliance** : Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner according to company standards and governmental regulations. + **Education** : Bachelor’s degree in “ Electronics or Electrical “ engineering or Equivalent from an approved institution or reputable university. + **Experience** : Minimum of 5-8 years in field service engineering or a similar role, with a proven track record of successful installations and maintenance of complex systems. + BMS experience is mandatory (Honeywell BMS systems are preferred), other low current systems knowledge/experience will add value. + Working knowledge and certifications of NFPA, ASHRAE Standards, Global and Saudi Building Codes. + Understanding databases, ICT & Networks, Servers, RAID’s and PC’s. + Ability to travel (up to 20%).
