About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for delivering exceptional on-site technical support to our customers. This includes installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Videojet equipment with a focus on electromechanical diagnostics and repairs. You’ll be a key point of contact for our customers, building strong relationships, managing expectations, and ensuring our solutions perform at their best. This role requires flexibility to travel across a large territory, with occasional overnight stays. Based in the Greater Manchester area, Remote.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Install and commission new Videojet solutions at customer sites.

Perform preventive maintenance and reactive service to maximize equipment uptime.

Diagnose and repair electromechanical, electrical, and mechanical issues on Videojet equipment.

Support product trials and demonstrations in collaboration with the sales team.

Build strong customer relationships through excellent service, clear communication, and a proactive approach to recommending improvements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Field service experience in an electromechanical, mechanical, electrical, or engineering environment.

Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills and experience with equipment installation and maintenance (industrial production environment experience is an advantage).

Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build trust.

Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team.

Flexible to travel across a large territory, with occasional overnight stays.
