Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is in search of a driven Field Service Engineer III to join our Analytical Instrument Group (AIG). Your role will be critical in delivering outstanding service activities across Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean Islands.

Responsibilities

Deliver service activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance services for the Cement, Minerals, and Bulk Elemental Analysis team.Proactively learn various techniques and instruments of Thermo Fisher Scientific.Uphold self-control and self-regulation to support a customer and technology base.Own and deliver on service tasks such as installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, and problem-solving on scientific instruments.Work remotely, providing on-site services that exceed customer expectations and ensure our customers become promoters of our business through positive feedback and dedication.Provide remote support 24/7 when required.Travel to customer sites for service 80% of the working year.Develop and maintain the highest professional relationships with our customer base, addressing technical issues swiftly and accurately.Enable the customer's success through their partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific.Ensure timely and accurate reporting of activities, including field service reports and expense reports.Collaborate with the Sales team regarding lead generation, customer activities, and updates.

Requirements

Demonstrated background in field service engineering, particularly within the cement and minerals sector.Solid technical foundation with the capacity to tackle intricate challenges.Outstanding self-discipline and self-management skills.Willingness to travel extensively (80% of the year).Ability to provide 24/7 remote support when necessary.Strong communication abilities and the capacity to cultivate favorable client connections.
